Domino’s Named as One of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024
For the second consecutive year, and third time overall, Domino’s has been named as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024. Domino’s made the rapid response category this year, which is a list of companies recognized for rapidly addressing an assortment of crises in the U.S. and abroad. As the largest pizza company in the U.S., Domino’s efforts helped invest in local communities, while making pizza delivery and takeout easier than ever. Here are the two initiatives which helped land Domino’s on the list:
Largest Electric Pizza Delivery Fleet
Domino’s lays claim to the largest electric pizza delivery fleet in the country, which expanded even more in 2023. Domino’s announced that more than 1,100 custom-branded 2023 Chevy Bolt electric vehicles would be on the ground and in use at select franchise and corporate stores by the end of the year, surpassing its initial rollout number of 800.
Plowing for Pizza
Domino’s believes nothing should stand in the way of carrying out a hot, delicious pizza, including snowy, cold weather. That is why the brand launched Plowing for Pizza: a program that awarded $500,000 in grants to cities to for plowing snow, giving carryout customers a clear route home.
