Domino’s Takes New Steps in National FFA Partnership

Published: November 21, 2024
Domino’s is funding 10 scholarships worth $10,000 each for FFA members working toward a college degree in agricultural education, with the intent to pursue a career as an agriculture science teacher.

After seven years, more than 100 scholarships, 140 supervised agricultural experience grants and support of sustainable agriculture education, Domino’s is determined to make an even larger impact on future farmers. This year, Domino’s leaders collaborated with FFA students and agriculture professionals to activate some exciting updates in our partnership with the National Future Farmers of America.

A major area of opportunity expressed by FFA and agriculture professionals was the need for more agriculture science teachers. These teachers truly foster the next generations of leaders in agriculture – their guidance inspires, supports and motivates FFA students across the country. For this reason, Domino’s has launched $100,000 in scholarships for FFA students pursuing careers in agriculture education, to support the next generation of teachers in ag.

FFA works with students pursuing careers in all aspects of agriculture, including professions that fall within food processing and products. To empower the future workforce, Domino’s has allocated some of its support to FFA’s food processing and products career pathway – an initiative that exposes FFA students to the food science industry, which is a space that aligns closely with careers offered at Domino’s!

In addition to these new focus areas, Domino’s is excited to announce that Carrie Ballew, Domino’s vice president – chief procurement officer, has joined FFA’s sponsors board – a group made of corporate executives who are dedicated to supporting agricultural education and National FFA. Through her position on the sponsors board, Carrie will gain even more insights and knowledge of opportunities with FFA, and represent Domino’s as a proud partner of the agriculture industry.

Domino’s is delighted to have deepened its investment in future farmers and agricultural leaders. We’re excited about the direction our partnership is heading and cannot wait to see what the students that we support accomplish in the future!
