On October 29, 2024, GENYOUth celebrated the launch of its Super School Meals program with a kickoff event at Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, in collaboration with NOLA Public Schools, the New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee and key sponsors, including Domino’s.

This school year, Domino’s delivered school nutrition equipment grants to more than 59 high-need schools in Louisiana, as part of GENYOUth’s Super School Meals program. The equipment grants enabled the schools to provide grab-and-go meals in an effort to combat student hunger.

GENYOUth is a national nonprofit organization, founded by America’s dairy farmers and the NFL, whose mission is to help school children thrive by living well-nourished and physically active lives. Its Super School Meals program increases access to more than 8,750,000 school meals annually – reaching over 32,000 students in Louisiana. Domino’s has proudly supported GENYOUth since the organization’s inception in 2010. Supporting GENYOUth and Super School Meals is an important element in Domino’s community outreach programs, as the company prioritizes addressing food insecurity.

“As a restaurant company, we recognize the power of food – because if a student is hungry, they can’t unlock their full potential,” said Joe Jordan, Domino’s president of U.S. and global services. “Our commitment to student health and wellness is reflected in our Domino’s Smart Slice Pizza, a delicious and nutritious meal that is served in schools across the U.S.”

Domino's Smart Slice program offers pizzas that meet USDA school lunch nutrition standards and is served in more than 20,000 schools across more than 1,500 districts. More than 80% of participating school districts report increased participation in school meals with Domino’s Smart Slice, helping to fuel students achieve the Power of Possible across the country.

“Domino’s Smart Slice is proud to partner with organizations like GENYOUth in the battle to end student hunger,” said Kris Holley, director of strategic sales for Domino’s Smart Slice. “We value each and every meal that we can help make possible, as one in five children live with food insecurity in the U.S.”
