Domino’s Marks Milestone Year Supporting Future Farmers of America

The aroma of delicious pizza mingled with the buzz of conversation as thousands of students streamed through the National Future Farmers of America Convention in Indianapolis from Oct. 29-Nov. 1. Domino’s joined the agricultural education convention in 2025, for the first time in history, bringing a slice of its story to more than 60,000 students, industry professionals, and educators.
For more than eight years Domino's has championed FFA’s mission to prepare future leaders through agricultural education. The organization prepares its members for leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. The convention brought together people from all over the county to network, grow and explore strategies for transforming global growing practices.
“The national convention is a pretty amazing annual event for students and participants in FFA,” shared Hannah Richardson, Domino’s senior sustainability specialist, who was onsite at the convention. “There are ceremonies for recognizing achievements, opportunities for career development through workshops and speakers, and getting to meet with different businesses related to the agriculture system in the expo hall.”
At the convention, Domino’s corporate team members, franchisees, and store members connected with thousands of students, sharing stories, pizza, career possibilities, gift cards, and Domino’s swag.
“Recruiting future Dominoids was definitely the highlight,” said Richardson. “Our slogan, ‘There is no pizza without farmers,’ really resonated with students. It was rewarding to talk to them about how their expertise gained through participation in the FFA program could translate into many different roles across our business, from supply chain to sustainability. Seeing their excitement about those possibilities reminded me how interconnected farming and our business truly is.”
Domino’s is committed to supporting the growth of our future farmers as well as our future and current agriculture science teachers. In 2025, Domino's donated $550,000 to fund scholarship programs, work-based learning grants, sustainability curriculums, and workforce development programs aligned with FFA's Food Processing and Products career pathway. Since joining as a national sponsor in 2017, Domino's has donated more than $2.5 million to FFA.
In 2025, Domino’s also expanded its support by funding chapter grants for select local FFA chapters. Domino’s will deliver funds in early 2026 to support local leadership and agricultural education initiatives.
FFA high school seniors or FFA alumni in college can apply for Domino's-sponsored scholarships by completing the application through FFA's website by midnight on Jan. 15, 2026. Students only need to complete one application to access multiple scholarship opportunities totaling nearly $2.5 million. Winners will be informed by the FFA in late April, and the funds for the fall 2026 semester will be distributed in July.
“One thing I often hear is that if you see a former or current FFA student applying for a job, you should hire them immediately,” said Brynn Mueller, Midwest marketing coordinator for Domino’s franchisee Rodgers Mueller. “The FFA prepares students so well, by helping them learn the necessary skills that they will need to be successful in the future.”
