Domino’s Empowers Dairy Farmers Through Collaboration with The Nature Conservancy

At Domino’s, we’re committed to serving the most delicious food, but that wouldn’t be possible without the farmers across the country working to supply us with high quality ingredients for our pizzas. For this reason, we’re proud to partner with organizations that actively champion farmers. In 2024, Domino’s launched a collaboration with The Nature Conservancy – an organization dedicated to conserving the lands and waters on which all life depends – to further our support of farmers and the agriculture industry.
The Nature Conservancy enacts a variety of strategies to protect and restore the natural world, including regenerative farming practices. Domino’s support of The Nature Conservancy helps fund Dairy Feed in Focus – a program that works to advise farmers on and scale up the best management practices in dairy feed and forage production. This program aims to enhance efficiency to deliver environmental and economic benefits for farms of all sizes. It also offers flexible pathways to support farmers at all levels of their sustainability journey.
“The Dairy Feed in Focus program is not only helping participating farmers, but it’s serving as a model for regenerative practice implementation on dairy farms of all sizes throughout the United States and beyond,” said Alisha Staggs, dairy program manager for The Nature Conservancy in North America. “Companies like Domino’s that support these conservation programs are helping to achieve a sustainable future for people and nature.”
In 2024, the Dairy Feed in Focus program achieved new milestones – the farmers participating in the program represented more than 15,000 acres across the Midwest. Dairy farmers received support to implement a suite of conservation practices on their farms to improve soil health, water quality and quantity, and biodiversity, while also receiving economic benefits.
“Without dairy farmers, we would not be able to deliver the tastiest, cheesiest pizzas to our customers,” said Jeannette Sharp, manager of community relations at Domino’s. “Our collaboration with The Nature Conservancy offers vital support to the farmers who work hard to care for and produce the quality ingredients found in Domino’s stores daily.”
Domino’s recognizes the importance of farmers to our business and our customers – without them, there’d be no pizza. We’re thrilled to support organizations like The Nature Conservancy, that work tirelessly to support the future of agriculture.
