Celebrating Educators Who Shape the Future of Agriculture
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week from Domino’s!
Domino’s partnership with the National Future Farmers of America Organization (FFA) aims to positively impact future leaders in the agriculture industry. Since the partnership began in 2017, Domino’s has awarded grants for hands-on learning projects for students, assisted with the development of sustainable agriculture curriculum and supported students at the annual National FFA Convention.
While Domino’s aims to uplift students who are the future of agriculture, these students would not be empowered if it were not for the incredible teachers dedicated to fostering the “Power of Possible” in classrooms across the country. For this reason, Domino’s is proud to award $10,000 in collegiate scholarships to 10 students who are pursuing careers in agricultural education.
Domino’s dedication to future agriculture educators and providing increased scholarship opportunities is part of the brand’s expanded commitment to FFA. In 2024, Domino’s team members met with leaders in the agriculture industry to discuss developments and opportunities for support. A major need expressed was for more agriculture science teachers – without them, there’s no one to cultivate the future of the industry. Through scholarships, Domino’s aims to support FFA students who are on track to become an agriculture science educator and future FFA advisor.
“Supporting the future of agriculture starts with supporting the teachers,” said Carrie Ballew, Domino’s chief procurement officer and FFA sponsors’ board member. “These teachers work to uplift and inspire their students every day. The goal of the Domino’s-sponsored FFA scholarships is to foster a pipeline of future agriculture teachers and leaders.”
In addition to scholarships for future agriculture educators, Domino’s supports current teachers through chapter grants and sponsored workshops.
