Winter is "Snow" Joke: Domino’s is Plowing for Pizza

Let’s face it: cold roads shouldn’t happen to hot pizza. It’s something we’re passionate about, and the reason why we decided to grant half a million dollars to help clear snow-covered roads across the nation! You heard it right – a pizza company is actually helping to plow roads, and customers can play a part in making it all happen.

From Dec. 4, 2023, to Jan. 21, 2024, Domino’s is opening nominations for 20 cities to get $25,000 in snow plowing grants to ensure that hot pizzas make it home safely for carryout customers this winter. Customers can visit Plowingforpizza.com to submit the zip code of their hometown to nominate them for a grant.

As communities accept their award on a rolling basis, they will not only get funds to pay for clearing snow, but they will also get a winter-themed Domino’s Plowing for Pizza kit. These kits include winter hats, scarves, snow measuring stick and sign, vehicle magnets and other themed items, including a $200 gift card so that plow drivers can warm up with hot pizza after a cold, hard day of work. The towns chosen will be announced as soon as mid-January.

To kick off the frosty fun, Domino’s has already worked alongside three municipalities with historically high volumes of snowfall to help their plowing efforts. These cities include Erie, PA; Marquette, MI and Manhattan, MT.

Chosen municipalities will be listed on the Plowing for Pizza website, along with images and footage from the plowing locations. Want a chance to see your community featured? Nominate your city today!

Nomination Period ends 1/21/24 or when all available Funds have been claimed. Must be 13+ years of age to make a nomination; eligible minors should have parental consent to participate. Limit one (1) nomination per person, per email address. Void where prohibited by law. For full details, see Terms: www.dominosplowingforpizzaprogram.com/terms.
