Domino’s Receives Corporate Equality Index Score of 100

Domino’s is a recipient of the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion.

As we celebrate Pride, we also reflect on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index, which is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. This index evaluates companies based on policies, practices and benefits that support LGBTQ+ employees. Recently, Domino’s earned a top score of 100 in the foundation's 2023-2024 CEI and was named a recipient of the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion.

“At Domino’s, we are creating a sense of belonging for everyone that promotes a thriving culture of innovation where anything is possible,” said Trevor Thomas, Domino’s director of inclusion and diversity. “By recognizing differing viewpoints and backgrounds and better knowing what our team members face, Domino’s will continue to drive innovation and the best products.”

The 2023-2024 survey included 1,384 participating businesses and Domino’s joined 545 other major businesses in this year's ranking. The CEI evaluates companies under four primary categories: nondiscrimination policies across business entities; equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families; supporting an inclusive culture; and corporate social responsibility. Scoring is determined by how company employees truly feel their opinions, needs and experiences are not only valued, but implemented.

Domino’s human resources department recognizes that prioritizing work to move Domino’s closer to its inclusion and diversity mission and understanding the barriers team members face is key. Inputs and themes found in places like Domino’s annual employee engagement survey help inform the team.

“While there is more work to be done to achieve full-lived equality, the comprehensive assessment reaffirms Domino’s commitment to an inclusive culture,” Trevor said. “Our responsibility is to make sure each team member belongs. And breaking bread together, or pepperoni and cheese, is a start.”
