Domino’s Visits Evergreen Dairy Farm to Celebrate Sustainability in Action

Domino’s team members join The Nature Conservancy staff and Evergreen Dairy Farm owners, Kris and Carla Wardin, in St. Johns, Michigan, on Sept. 8, 2025.

At Domino’s, we know that great pizza starts long before it reaches the oven; it begins with the hardworking farmers who produce the high-quality ingredients we rely on every day. That’s why earlier this year we announced our collaboration with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to support their Dairy Feed in Focus program, which delivers on driving sustainability forward.

On Sept. 8, 2025, members from Domino’s sustainability, procurement and community relations teams visited Evergreen Dairy Farm – a participant in the Dairy Feed in Focus program – in St. Johns, Michigan. The Feed in Focus program enrolls qualified farmers, providing tailored technical support to choose and implement the best regenerative practices for their farms over three years. These practices are aimed at improving soil health, water quality, and biodiversity while supporting the farmers’ bottom line.

“Collaborations like the one with Domino’s are essential to scaling regenerative agriculture,” said Alisha Staggs, director of the dairy program for The Nature Conservancy in North America. “By working directly with farmers and supporting practical, science-based solutions, we’re not only improving environmental outcomes – we’re helping ensure that farming remains viable for future generations. It’s inspiring to see companies like Domino’s step up to invest in the roots of the food system.”

During the visit, Domino’s team members spent the day immersed in farm life: touring the facilities and seeing regenerative practices in action, and engaging in meaningful conversations with the farmers who are leading the way in sustainable agriculture. Over a shared meal, attendees discussed the future of regenerative farming and the importance of partnerships that support farmer and industry longevity.

“One of the key takeaways from the tour was how upfront costs can be a major barrier for farmers looking to adopt new practices, like regenerative farming,” said Hannah Richardson, Domino’s senior sustainability specialist. “Our investment in The Nature Conservancy’s work helps lower that barrier by providing funding and access to a network of support, whether that’s fellow farmers on a similar journey or TNC’s team of experts. We know that innovation and bold changes are essential to ensuring the food system, from farm to table, can be sustainable for people and the planet. Collaborations like this are key to making that possible.”

Domino’s remains committed to supporting the agricultural community and investing in sustainable food systems. Through Domino’s collaboration with TNC, we’re helping to ensure that the future of farming is as rich and rewarding as the pizzas we serve.
